LISA WALDROP
Master Stylist
Lisa’s dream of creating SkyeBlu Salon came to life in March of 2008 — a space built on the belief that every guest deserves a truly personalized experience. With a passionate, talented team united by a shared commitment to exceptional service, SkyeBlu has become a destination for transformative cuts and color tailored to each individual.
With over 37 years of expertise in the hair industry, Lisa is a recognized leader and educator in her field. Her accomplishments span brand education for top manufacturers at major beauty industry events, mentoring emerging stylists through apprenticeship programs, and providing hands-on training for both stylists and salon owners. For seven years, she also successfully operated a Professional Salon Wholesale Distribution business alongside her role at SkyeBlu — a testament to her entrepreneurial drive and industry knowledge.
Lisa and her husband Trey have proudly called the Emerald Coast home since 2002, where they raised their three children. Now enjoying the empty-nester chapter of life, they love spending time on the water, staying connected with family and friends, and making memories with their dog, Harley.
“When guests walk through our doors, I want them to feel an instant sense of warmth and belonging. We’re a team of skilled professionals, but the vibe here is more like catching up with friends — great conversation, a cup of coffee, and services that make you feel your absolute best.”
Favorite Part of Her Job: "I love having the opportunity to have a positive influence on people and how they feel about themselves. I like being able to help with their self confidence. When they feel better, it brings me great joy."
Personal Style: Simple and quick; "With three kids, I have to be able to get ready fast!"
Hobbies: Watching my kids play sports, spending time at the beach, and "Great Southern and I have a great romance."
Favorite Salon Product: Keune's Salt Mousse ("Adds great texture and volume to any hair type!")
Biggest Personal Hair Mistake: "When I was newly married, I volunteered to be a hair model for a hair show for my boss in Baltimore, or somewhere, and I told them very explicitly 'don't cut my hair off.' And he cut my hair into a mullet. I came home and my husband said, 'I thought I married a girl....' The worst part was, I had to be in two weddings with this horrible haircut."
